Shivayogi is a passionate nature photographer and former IT professional whose journey reflects a profound love for both technology and the natural world. With a background in IT Consulting, Project & Program Management. Shivayogi spent over 22 years honing technical skills along with global exposure that laid the groundwork for a unique career transition.While working in the tech industry, he often found solace in the great outdoors, exploring local parks and trails with a camera in hand. This passion ignited a desire to capture the beauty of nature and share it with others, leading him to pursue photography more seriously.In 2017, Shivayogi boldly decided to embrace the life of a nature photographer while wearing a corporate hat. He specializes in both wildlife (especially bird photography) and landscapes using a keen eye for detail and composition to create stunning images that tell stories of the natural environment.His work has been featured in SmartPhotography, SaveUs, and many online platforms including Canon, and he is committed to promoting conservation efforts through his photography. [He believes that connecting people with nature through powerful imagery can inspire a greater appreciation for the environment.When not behind the lens, Shivayogi enjoys, teaching photography workshops, volunteering for conservation projects, and watching documentaries. You are requested to arrive Dehradun as early as possible in the morning. On Day 1, We should reach the Guest House / Farm Stay (situated only minutes from the Safari Gate) by 12 PM latest.

On Day 1, We should reach the Guest House / Farm Stay (situated only minutes from the Safari Gate) by 12 PM latest. After a quick brief and lunch, we head for our first safari in the Cheelawali range by 1:30 PM.
We return to the stay around 6:30 and post a cup of hot tea / coffee and refreshing, DCP mentor will review the Images and address any questions. Dinner would be served around 8:30 PM, retire post dinner.
We will be covering the various tracks and water bodies located within the range across 5 safaris’ spread over next 3 days. The Safari begins at 6:30 am. The morning safari are between 6:30 to 10:30 and the afternoon starts at 2 PM and ends at 6 pm (Seasonal variation of 30 min between Winter and non-winter respectively.
The schedule would follow the below routine
On Day 4, we will check out around 11 am Post morning safari and breakfast. Head to the airport directly.
On-field learning from the experts is said to be one of the best methods of improving your skill-set. Our expert will hand hold you at every possible step for a better understanding of perspectives, camera controls and how to make use of the best opportunities to get better images. The training will focus on the following
