Dr Caesar Sengupta is a globally acclaimed Wildlife Conservation Photographer, a National Geographic acknowledged educator, freelance writer and trainer. He is a Canon India EOS Maestro, a qualified MD Medical Microbiologist and is also the Founder Director of DCP Expeditions LLP, which is India's one of the largest Wildlife, Nature and Travel Photography Community Platform, operating since 2010 and now present in 21 cities across India. He conducts regular photography workshops and field expeditions across the country. He has travelled far and wide across Indian geography and beyond. He has the timeless distinction of having a frog species discovered in 2014 named after him - The Indosylvirana caesari also known otherwise as the Maharashtra Golden Backed Frog. Kane Lew, one of the finest artists in the DCP panel of experts. He is an arts graduate from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai, and is a commercial photographer. Kane is an experienced photographer and has travelled extensively across Indian geography for several years. He has brilliant photography skills and technical knowledge in all genres of photography with a special interest in wildlife photography. He is known for his innovations and his capability of giving shape to imaginations. He has a great teaching acumen. Ashok Dewangan is a photographic artist and educator, with a passion for Photography. He likes to do experiments with various genres of photography, his work is recognized on various national and international photographic platforms. He loves to explore hidden places for landscape photography and devotes his non-office hours to travelling to new places and doing experiments with photography. His core area of work is Travel and Landscape. He is brilliant in his Post-Processing skills, he teaches post-processing from basic to advanced levels. Our Cinematography expert from Mumbai is another engineering student turned photographer who is a seasoned cinematographer with nearing a decade of experience in working on a wide variety of projects all across India ranging from wildlife documentaries for multiple forest departments of India, corporate films, music videos and wedding films as well. Ravin is one of the youngest experts associated with DCP & its wildlife filming projects since its inception.

Yogesh Chavan

Yogesh Chavan, a graduate from JJ School of Applied Arts, apart from being a visualizer, a poet, a writer and an actor, is a full-time Yoga trainer and Acupressure Therapist. He is also a skilled outdoor adventure sports trainer. He has authored the popular book Matheran - A Practical Guide. Many of his images have drawn considerable popularity in many publications including BNHS CEC and MTDCs quarterly magazine - Maharashtra Unlimited. He has sound knowledge of the biodiversity around him and is currently engaged at Saguna Baug on an Agro-Tourism outfit. Shivayogi is a passionate nature photographer and former IT professional whose journey reflects a profound love for both technology and the natural world. With a background in IT Consulting, Project & Program Management. Shivayogi spent over 22 years honing technical skills along with global exposure that laid the groundwork for a unique career transition.While working in the tech industry, he often found solace in the great outdoors, exploring local parks and trails with a camera in hand. This passion ignited a desire to capture the beauty of nature and share it with others, leading him to pursue photography more seriously.In 2017, Shivayogi boldly decided to embrace the life of a nature photographer while wearing a corporate hat. Mayuresh Hendre is an award-winning wildlife filmmaker, photographer and a naturalist from Mumbai, India. Manaska Mukhopadhyay

Dr Manaska Mukhopadhyay is a PhD in Earth Sciences from Jadavpur University and subsequently worked as a Project Researcher at the Earthquake Research Institute, The University of Tokyo. Currently, he serves as a Project Post-Doctoral Fellow at IIT Kanpur. In addition to his academic and professional work, Manaska is a passionate nature lover and wildlife photographer. During his stay in Japan, he explored the country's wilderness, capturing the beauty of its forests, wildlife and diverse ecosystems. Manaska is also drawn towards macro photography, with a focus on butterflies. Mathew Daniel is a businessman running a software business based out of Mumbai. His work takes him places across the globe and hence he is literally a Globetrotter. He is one of the Founder Members of DCP Rentals and he manages finance in the rentals business.

Kavita Sengupta

Cofounder And Director

Kavita is the backbone of the organization. She is the cofounder of the DCP group and Director Operations and finances. She is a skilled administrator and also takes active interest in Wildlife photography. With a keen administrative acumen and a network of coordinated logistical support, she works as the chief coordinator for most of the DCP workshops, tours and expeditions. She also plays a very vital role in all DCP projects starting from project planning, finances, sponsorships, promotions, execution, human resource management, customer support, feedback analysis and continuous improvement process. Her ability to connect directly with the needs, likes and dislikes of our guests, keeps the spirit and enthusiasm bubbling in all our outdoor ventures.

Dr Dilip Shah

Dr. Dilip Shah is a consultant Diabetologist, CEO and Director of Vijay Vallabh hospital and Indus Diabetes Center. He is also a consultant Diabetologist at Wockhart Hospital. He has always been an ardent nature lover from a very young age. Around 2012, he did his first trip to Masai Mara. Ever since, he has been visiting this Mecca of Wildlife Photographers every year and his thirst for going to Masai Mara, had been growing even more. His Mantra for photography is simple PAT... Mevan Piyasena, a Biodiversity expert and a renowned freelance naturalist based in Sri Lanka and carries with him an extensive on field experience in the dense forests of Sri Lanka. His love for Wildlife and Wildlife Photography is well known across continents. He is a Wildlife management and conservation certificate holder from the Open University of Sri Lanka. Mevan is also an active Life member of FOGSL – Field Ornithology Group of Sri Lanka (Birdlife international) , member of YZA - Young Zoologists’ Association of Sri Lanka and member of The National trust. Dr Tanmoy Das is an anesthesiologist by profession. He heads the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata. While he is involved in life saving decisions 18 hours a day, he connects with his creative inner self using photography as a medium whenever he gets some time for himself. Simi Jois, a Marketing and Branding professional by academics, found her calling in culinary photography. Simi has always been intrigued by light. Rays of sunlight streaming into a forest; the gentle embrace of light on a bowl sitting on a dark table, capture her eye. Raised in an art-emphasized home subconsciously trained her mind to engage creatively with colour, texture, light, shadow and composition. Simi uses photographic images as her canvas and the lens as her brush. She did not have to look far for a subject - her passion for creating flavours provided her with infinite permutations of expression. Affectionately known as 'The Captain', Tanmay has always enjoyed the Great outdoors. He is an adventure enthusiast, and a passionate Wild Life photographer, whose images have been recognized, and awarded, across various fora such as National Geographic Traveler, Smart Photography Magazine, Canon India, Wikimedia etc. He is a skilled trainer who periodically conducts workshops for BNHS (Bombay Natural History Society), and is a Panelist with DCP Expeditions. Panel Expert - DCP North East

Samrat is a young and dynamic zoologist and a Wildlife expert, specifically working extensively in the forests of North East India for over 5 years. He comes with exhaustive experience of working in the lesser known wild places of North East India including Dibru-Saikhowa National Park, Joypore Rain Forest, Deepor Beel, Orang National Park, Amchang Wildlife Sanctuary, Gibbon Wild Life Sanctuary and much other difficult geography of eastern Himalayas and North East India including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur studying primate diversities and surveying avifauna conservation status. He is one of the youngest but most dynamic member of the team and is a Wildlife Photography Expert and Biodiversity Project Head for North East Indian expeditions of DCP.

Prasad Kotian

Panel Expert - DCP Explorers

Prasad Kotian is an ardent wildlife enthusiast, traveller, explorer, adventurer, foodie, a wildlife and travel photographer and videographer himself. Professionally, Prasad is a senior management administrator in a mining firm and comes with years of experience in marketing, planning, logistics and international business expansions. He has been a globe trotter and has been passionately exploring the remotest corners of the earth from Sibuyan to Socotra, from Kenya to Kaeng Krachan. His photo stories have gained several appreciations, viz. his explorations of the island of Socotra was elaborately covered by popular wildlife magazine, Saevus. He is associated with team DCP as a Panel Expert for DCP Explorers Division.

Diganta Gogoi

Panel Expert - DCP Assam

Diganta Gogoi, better known as Digi amongst Indian Wildlife Photographers, is a Macro Photography wizard. He belongs to Assam, one of the most beautiful states of the country. A simple individual from within the core with a maddening passion of wildlife photography, Digi hails from the city of Jorhat, near the World famous Hoolongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary and has excellent knowledge of the biodiversity of the region. With brilliant photography skills and technical knowledge in all genres of Wildlife photography, Digi has developed special interest in macro and super macro photography. He is a skilled trainer, trekker, biodiversity expert and a talented Wildlife Photography Expert associated with DCP group. He is also the Regional Coordinator for Team DCP North East.

Goutam Som

Panel Expert - DCP Bengal

Goutam Som, a marketing personnel by profession, an artist and a photographer by passion. He has been nurturing his passion of photography since childhood and doing serious wildlife photography for last 10 years. Goutam is a technically skilled Wildlife photographer and has good knowledge of the biodiversity of Eastern India. He shares his knowledge passionately with all around him. He is a skilled trainer, biodiversity and a Panel Expert associated with DCP Bengal Team.

Anirban Dutta

Panel Expert - Wildlife Photography

Anirban Dutta, from the royal city of Cooch Behar, is a mathematics teacher by profession and a wildlife photographer by passion. His connection with mother nature dates back since the beginning of his photographic journey. His photography is out of the box and his images break all monotony of the usuals. He has a special interest for big mammals, birds and especially tiny macro worlds. In his free time he engages in protection and conservation of various natural habitats. He has been awarded in many International and national salons recognized by FIAP, PSA, GPU, FIP etc. He was conferred with the distinction of Fellow of Federation of Indian Photography (FFIP) in the year 2014. He has several national and international awards like InPA, Golden Turtle, DJMPC, Nature in Focus, Sanctuary Awards, RG Sustain, Asferico and many more as well as several publications nationally and internationally. We are proud to have Anirban as a Panel Expert in DCP.

Botanical Portraiture is a genre that Shannon has made into his signature style over the years. It is the fusion of fashion photography and flora portrait. Unlike conventional methods of simply bathing the subject with light, Shannon's approach applies controlled lighting to bring out the form and flow of the subjects, giving portrayal that are mysterious and seductive, while others are airy and cheerful. Rupal Vaidya is a passionate wildlife photographer with special focus on Birds, Star-Trails, Milky Way and Astro photography. He has travelled extensively for his passion for wildlife photography all over the country and beyond. Professionally, Rupal is an IT Engineer and gives software / networking support for many banks in Gujarat. Rupal has participated in Lion Census (2010) at the Gir National Park. He has participated in Borneo Bird Race 2014 (Borneo Island) and was part of a winning team from India. He is a regular explorer at the Bird Race organized by HSBC in Ahmedabad since the past five years. Rupal Vaidya was one of the team leaders at Global Bird watchers conference (GBWC 2014) which was organized by Gujarat Tourism department. His photographs have been featured in popular wildlife magazines like Sanctuary Asia, In-flight magazine of Vistara airlines(India), BBC website, Wikipedia. Rupal is associated with DCP as a Panel Expert -Team DCP Ahmedabad.

Udayan Borthakur

Panel Expert - DCP North East

Udayan Borthakur is a conservation geneticist and wildlife biologist by profession, with experience of more than a decade serving in premier institutes such as Wildlife Institute of India, University of Chicago and Aaranyak. He is an avid wildlife photographer by passion which is complemented well by his diverse field experience and outdoor expertise. He has been travelling across different protected areas of India, especially in the extreme corners of the northeast both for his profession and passion. His photography work can be seen in various magazines and books from national and international publishers. He has been conducting workshops and training on wildlife photography in Assam for the past some time with a principal mandate of using this media as a tool for conservation awareness. Apart from his interests in photography, he also has a sports background in weightlifting and is a student of martial arts.

Swayamsiddha Mohapatra

Nature and wildlife have always been an integral part of Swayam's life since his very childhood. When he was a child, his parents would take him to different forests in India, every year. From seeing a River Tern feed its young to catching a glimpse of a fox steal an Olive Ridley's egg, Swayam has had the privilege of witnessing some of the rarest moments of nature. He has been into photographing wildlife for more than a decade since 2009, since he was 17 years old. Swayam is also an avid bird watcher and love photographing birds in their natural habitat. Currently, Swayam is concentrating on documenting conservation photo-stories especially centered around man-animal conflicts and inclusive habitat photography. Swayam is an excellent teacher and shares knowledge selflessly with all around him. He is currently associated with Team DCP Mumbai as a Panel Expert.

Rupankar Mahanta

Panel Expert - DCP Mumbai

Rupankar Mahanta is an engineer by education, a HR man by profession, but a wildlife photographer, trekker, traveler and blogger by heart. As a photographer empanelled with Getty Image, he believes in practicing photography as an art form. His twin love for travel and photography had seen him trekking in absolute wilderness of Ladakh to diving in Andaman and Lakshadweep. In his words, ‘I can’t live without the regular dose of tigers and elephants’. His images and articles have been published in various forums, magazines and website. We are proud to have him as a Panel Expert in Team DCP Mumbai.
