Stay
Step into the golden grasslands of Mamadapur with DCP Expeditions for an immersive 1 night 2 days wildlife and astro photography expedition — a rare weekend experience where the terrestrial meets the celestial. This masterclass offers the perfect setting to capture the agile elegance of Blackbucks in their natural habitat and the shimmering brilliance of the night sky through astrophotography.
Mamadapur Conservation Reserve, located in the semi-arid region of Maharashtra, is one of the best destinations in India to photograph Indian Blackbucks. With endless grasslands stretching beyond the horizon, this landscape offers stunning opportunities to practice composition, storytelling, and high-speed action photography — as herds of Blackbuck leap gracefully across the golden frame.
As night falls and light pollution disappears, participants will explore the magic of astro photography, capturing star trails, constellations, and wide-field nightscapes under expert mentorship. This unique dual-format camp blends wildlife photography with night sky imaging — a perfect learning ground for photographers looking to diversify their portfolios in a short, focused expedition.
With experienced DCP mentor by your side, you’ll not only enhance your technical skills but also gain creative insights on visual storytelling, subject anticipation, and mastering natural light.
Whether you’re just starting your journey in photography or looking to sharpen your skills further — Mamadapur promises a magical weekend experience that fuses wildlife and astro photography like never before.
