Itinerary

Arrive in Varanasi by noon and check into your hotel. After lunch and a short orientation session, we begin our first photo shoot in the evening, capturing the colours and emotions of the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat — one of the most mesmerizing visual experiences in India.
We begin early with a drive to Sarnath, the revered site where Buddha gave his first sermon. Photograph the Dhamek Stupa, ancient ruins, monks in prayer, and quiet moments of spiritual life amidst the historical setting. Explore the peaceful gardens and museum for compelling compositions. We return to Varanasi by lunchtime. After a short break, gear up for an evening shoot on the ghats. Capture silhouettes, lamps, priests, and the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, this time from a fresh vantage. The golden hour light and spiritual ambiance create ideal conditions for powerful, atmospheric storytelling through your lens.
Today’s focus will be on photographing Akhadas (traditional wrestling arenas), local artisans, and temple rituals that define Varanasi’s spiritual rhythm. After lunch, enjoy an image review and feedback session with your mentor. Evening shoot around Assi and Tulsi Ghats to capture the city’s twilight charm.
Our final morning session begins before dawn with another boat ride, offering serene perspectives of Varanasi’s ghats at sunrise. We return for breakfast, wrap up with a brief closing discussion, and check out by late morning — ending the tour with unforgettable memories and a rich set of photographs.

Well organised trip which covered the essence of Varanasi. Special mention must be made of our mentor Pankaj who took great pains to make the trip comfortable and show us Varanasi from the viewpoint of a photographer. He also made a lot of effort to review our pictures and give helpful suggestions. Will love to travel with him again.
