Join us for a 3 nights and 4 days Wildlife Photography Expedition to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, one of the best wildlife photography tours in India and fondly known as “the jewel of Vidarbha”. Celebrated as Maharashtra’s oldest and most iconic tiger reserve, Tadoba was established in 1935 and declared a national park in 1955. The adjoining Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary was notified in 1986, and together they were unified in 1995 to form the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) - now one of India’s 28 Project Tiger Reserves and widely regarded as one of the best among them.
Spanning dense teak forests, bamboo thickets, meandering streams, and serene water bodies, Tadoba is home to a thriving population of Bengal tigers, making it one of the most reliable locations in India to photograph these majestic big cats in their natural habitat. Its relatively low level of commercialisation ensures that the reserve retains a pristine ecosystem and rich biodiversity, offering unparalleled opportunities to capture not only tigers but also leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs (dholes), gaurs, sambar deer, and over 190 species of birds.
This immersive expedition includes 6 jeep safaris with only 4 photographers per vehicle, ensuring ample space for gear and unhindered shooting angles. Guided by expert mentor, you will learn field techniques, tracking skills, and the nuances of wildlife photography, all while exploring one of India’s most remarkable tiger landscapes. If you’re searching for the best wildlife photography tours in India, Tadoba promises a truly unforgettable experience — combining world-class sightings with expert-led field learning in the heart of India’s tiger country.
