Embark on a 3 nights 4 days wildlife photography expedition to Panna National Park, one of Central India’s most scenic and biodiverse tiger reserves. Located in the Vindhyan mountain ranges of Madhya Pradesh, Panna is renowned not just for its resurgent tiger population but also for its dramatic gorges, teak forests, and crystal-clear Ken River—making it an extraordinary destination for photographers.
This expedition includes 4 thrilling gypsy safaris, designed to explore different zones of the park for maximum wildlife encounters. Panna offers rich photographic opportunities with subjects ranging from Royal Bengal Tigers, Indian leopards, sloth bears, and gharial sightings along the riverbanks, to a diverse range of birds and reptiles.
Adding a cultural dimension to the trip, this tour also features a visit to the iconic temples of Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its intricate architecture and stone carvings—an unmissable opportunity for those who enjoy travel and architectural photography alongside wildlife.

Sangram is a skilled wildlife photographer and a hardcore nature enthusiast. He has travelled extensively across the Indian geography photographing and documenting the magnanimous beauty of the natural history of the country in his camera. His images have been appreciated and acknowledged in various photography competitions, newspapers and Exhibitions. He has a special interest Bird photography. Sangram has done his Bachelors of Architecture from University of Pune. Apart from being a skilled photographer, he is also a talented Artist and has a great hand in painting, sketching and sculpting. He is a skilled trainer, one of the DCP Explorers and is currently associated with us as a Panel Expert and Consultant, Strategy Team.

We will have a pick and drop facility from and to Jabalpur. It is a 5 hours road deive. Please ensure to reach Jabalpur a day prior, so that we can start early in the morning in order to reach on time and be able to do the Day 1 afternoon safari

Do not worry if you don’t own any advance camera / super-telephoto lens as we now have an equipment support division. Equipment is available on rental - please mail us at rentals@dcpexpeditions.com.
Guests will be provided a pick-up and drop-off facility from Satna Railway Station, which is approximately a 2.5-hour drive to Panna.
Please plan to arrive early - ideally by the LTT Rajgiri Express or any other train that reaches Satna in the morning, so we can begin our journey immediately and reach Panna in time for the Day 1 afternoon safari.
On arrival, check in at the resort, freshen up, and join the group for lunch.
After lunch, we’ll head out for our first jungle safari. Expect to return to the resort by 6:45 pm. Spend the evening sharing stories and experiences over tea or coffee, followed by dinner.
Wake-up call at 4:45 am. Enjoy a quick cup of tea or coffee before leaving for the morning safari starting at 6:00 am.
During this season, tiger sightings are highly likely as they frequent the waterholes in search of water.
We return to the resort by around 11:00 am for breakfast. Depending on group preference, breakfast can also be enjoyed inside the park (packed breakfast option). Relax and unwind until lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll leave for the evening safari at 3:30 pm, returning by 7:00 pm for tea and refreshments.
Later in the evening, your group lead will conduct a post-processing and photography learning session, reviewing select images captured during the safaris and sharing practical field techniques.
Dinner will be served by 9:00 pm, followed by rest, as we start early the next day.
Begin the day with one final early morning safari. Return to the resort by around 10:00 am for breakfast.
After breakfast and lunch, check out and depart for Khajuraho.
In the afternoon, explore the Khajuraho Temple Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by the Light and Sound Show at the Western Group of Temples in the evening.
After the show, proceed to Satna Railway Station to board the Kamayani Express for your return journey.
Please ensure your return train booking is scheduled for late evening, allowing adequate time for travel and sightseeing.

Please take a note that sighting of a Tiger and / or a good photography opportunity to capture it in an ideal frame is a matter of luck. Though the possibility of sighting is high but it can never be guaranteed in the wild.
