Embark on a 4 nights, 5 days macro photography expedition to the remote and richly biodiverse valleys of Arunachal Pradesh, one of India’s most pristine and unexplored ecological frontiers. This expedition is thoughtfully designed for macro photography enthusiasts to explore and document some of the most fascinating and rarely photographed micro-wildlife of Northeast India.
Arunachal Pradesh, known for its dense evergreen forests, mist-covered landscapes, and high-altitude cloud belts, supports an incredible diversity of amphibians, reptiles, arachnids, insects, and orchids — many of which are still scientifically undocumented. The forest floor, covered in moss, leaf litter, and moisture, along with occasional bioluminescent fungi, creates a surreal and unique environment for macro photography unlike anywhere else in India.
With an experienced DCP photography mentor guiding you in the field, you will learn how to photograph cryptic frogs, well-camouflaged snakes, bioluminescent fungi, and other elusive subjects using creative lighting techniques, wide-angle macro approaches, and field-based compositions. From handheld shooting techniques to advanced methods like focus stacking, this expedition is designed to elevate your macro photography skills.
Whether you are a passionate naturalist or a photographer eager to explore the hidden world of the forest floor, this expedition offers a rare opportunity to create portfolio-worthy images while contributing to ethical and responsible wildlife documentation in one of India’s last untouched wilderness regions.
