Embark on a 4 nights and 5 days macro photography expedition to the remote and richly biodiverse valleys of Arunachal Pradesh, one of India’s most mysterious and untouched ecological frontiers. This tour is specially designed for macro photography enthusiasts to explore and document some of the most surreal and rarely photographed micro-wildlife of Northeast India.
Arunachal, known for its dense evergreen forests, high-altitude cloud belts, and year-round moisture, harbors an astonishing diversity of amphibians, reptiles, arachnids, insects, and orchids — many of which remain scientifically unexplored and unnamed. The dark forest floors, moss-laden branches, and bioluminescent fungi of this region offer a surreal canvas for macro photography unlike anywhere else in India.
With expert DCP mentor by your side, you’ll learn how to photograph cryptic frogs, camouflaged snakes, bioluminescent fungi, and other elusive macro subjects using creative lighting and wide-angle perspectives. From hand-held fieldcraft to advanced focus stacking, this expedition will elevate your macro photography to a new level — all while contributing to responsible and ethical documentation of biodiversity in one of India’s last green frontiers.
Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or a photographer looking to explore the hidden world of the forest floor, this is your chance to create once-in-a-lifetime images and be part of a deeper conversation around conservation and awareness.
