I've always been passionate about wildlife photography, especially mammals, but recently I felt a bit disconnected from the excitement of capturing images. That’s when Dr. Das, introduced me to on-field training and birding, and when the DCP Mangalajodi Birding Tour was announced, I was curious to join. The tour exceeded all my expectations. From the flawless planning and attention to detail to the picturesque landscape and rich birdlife, everything was perfectly arranged. The individual boat rides driven by extremely talented and hardworking guides, along with useful tips from Dr Das, truly enhanced the experience. The debrief sessions each evening were incredibly valuable. It was inspiring to see professionals, far more senior and experienced than me in their corporate roles, still aggressively hold on to their passion of photography. It helped me realize where I had been falling short and reignited my love for nature and photography. With comfortable accommodation, delicious food, and great company, especially considering the remoteness of the location, this tour was a refreshing reminder of why I love what I do. I am already confirming next year’s Mangalajodi tour and look forward to more adventures with DCP. Exciting times ahead!

For a long while , I was intending to enter this genre of photography (birding). My passion is wildlife photography, but I had mostly concentrated on mammals, all these years. It was my friend and colleague, Dr Tanmoy Das who got me interested in birding. So when this DCP tour came up, I was most excited to register for it. Truly speaking, it surpassed all my expectations. The immaculate planning, attention to minute details, and flawless execution along with lavish arrangements made this tour a really one to talk about. The topography was picturesque, so many species in one area, the guides were knowledgeable, individual boats and useful tips from Tanmoy da made it a memorable experience. Stay was pleasant along with tasty food. I wish to go for other tours conducted by DCP. Wish DCP and Tanmoy da all the best for future tours.

DCP is known for arranging photography tours of very high quality standards, and this Mangaljodi trip was no exception. Every detail was taken care off. Specially Dr. Tanmoy conducted the tour wonderfully, providing a wonderful opportunity and creating unique instances where I could learn a lot about birding photography and sharpen my skills. Mangaljodi is a true birding paradise and I do not think any other place would be able to provide such diverse bird species that Mangaljodi offers. And off course, my team mates Dr. Arnab and Mr. Dattatreya were wonderful people to know about. Kudos to DCP team for organising such wonderful photo tours.
