About The Tour

Join DCP Expeditions on an immersive 3 nights 4 days Bird Photography Expedition to Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur) and the Chambal River Sanctuary, two iconic birding hotspots in North India that come alive during the winter months with an explosion of avian life.

Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is world-renowned for its rich bird diversity and habitat, hosting over 370 species of migratory and resident birds including waterfowl, raptors, and wetland specialists. Shallow waters, nesting colonies, and close encounters make Bharatpur a paradise for bird photographers.

Complementing this, the Chambal River Sanctuary offers a contrasting riverine ecosystem with excellent sightings of Gharials, Mugger crocodiles, and a variety of river birds and raptors. A tranquil boat ride on the Chambal provides unique low-angle photography opportunities and a chance to capture rare species like the Indian Skimmer and Black-bellied Tern.

Led by a senior and expert mentor from DCP, this tour is perfect for photographers eager to expand their bird portfolio while learning advanced fieldcraft and composition in two distinct habitats.

Very well organised by DCP & well executed by mentor Sangram. My experience with DCPis very good but DCP has to think about the hotel Iora. Services were not good. DCP should not stick with Iora . I had been with DCP for the fourth time but this time its services were substandard. DCP should look for other options . Photography point of view it was excellent tour , well managed.
