Embark on a 6 nights 7 days Africa Wildlife Photography Masterclass Expedition, specially designed for passionate wildlife photographers seeking an unforgettable safari experience across Kenya’s most celebrated national parks. Travelling in specially designed 4x4 safari vehicles, this expertly curated journey takes you through the elephant paradise of Amboseli National Park, the bird-rich landscapes of Lake Nakuru National Park, and the wildlife-rich plains of the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.

The expedition begins in Amboseli, where magnificent elephant herds roam beneath the snow-capped backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, creating one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife photography settings. The journey then continues to Lake Nakuru, renowned for its rich birdlife, white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and picturesque acacia woodlands. The final leg takes you to the world-famous Masai Mara, home to exceptional predator action, vast savannahs, abundant plains game, and some of the finest wildlife photography opportunities anywhere in Africa.

Led by a Senior DCP Panel Expert, this expedition combines outstanding wildlife encounters with intensive field-based photography learning.   • Wide angle lenses for opportunities of landscape and astro photography
  • Carry fully charged batteries for your camera / flash.

  • Carry backup memory cards / HDD storage drives, Laptop
  • Bean Bag (stuff with Bajra or thermacol or Rice).
  • Carry a big towel / cloth to protect your gear from dust

  • Sun screens are very important
  • It is advisable to carry basic first aid along with you.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Kenya has waived off e-VISA requirement but they have introduced a new requirement which is called Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

Please keep the following documents and things handy before you start filling the application form.

  • Copy of the first and last page (in one single document). Please ensure passport is valid for at least six (6) months after your planned date of arrival into Kenya, with at least one blank page
  • Selfie or passport-type photo

  • Accommodation booking confirmation(s) - (will be provided by us)

Itinerary

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi where you will be met by our representative after clearing with immigrations formalities and briefed about your safari. After an early breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park. The Park that is famous for its breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro. The Park also shelters more than 420 species of birds. Enormous Elephant population and other big game is attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch is served at the lodge, have some time to relax and depart for an evening game drive. Return to the lodge and enjoy a scrumptious dinner. 
 
Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Ol Tukai Lodge FB 

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summits, we set off for a dawn game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeest to giraffes to baboons. Midday becomes hot at the dry lake beds and finds us at your lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, thereafter depart for another exciting game drive at the park. Amboseli is also home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen whom you can see herding large groups of cattle with the devil’s dust rising in the backdrop. Maasai warriors are a famous and proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals is well known across the world.

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park where lunch will be served. Lake Nakuru National Park is regarded by avid birders' as the place for one of the greatest ornithological spectacles on planet Earth. The Park is famous for its millions of pink flamingoes lining on the lake shore as well as the fever trees and tree climbing lions. 

A spectacular afternoon game run is planned for us today. It is a sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino and the Rothschild Giraffe along with lions and leopards which presents one of the most beautiful and unique settings for photographing leopards and lions on fever trees. Bird life include common species like the lesser and Greater Flamingoes, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra-African Migrants.
 
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge, Nakuru.

After breakfast, you will drive to the famed Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. En route enjoy the beautiful scenery. Arrive at your Lodge/Camp in time for lunch and check in at the Lodge/Camp. Enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day. This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your Lodge/Camp.  
 
Dinner and Overnight at Keekorok Lodge or similar FB    

Wake up before sunrise and proceed on a full-day game-viewing drive with packed breakfast and lunch in search of the myriad of game that make this reserve their home. If you are lucky, you can witness a live kill, moment by moment, right in front of your unbelieving eyes! Masai Mara is where you can expect to seed the famous 'Big 5' and even a river crossing of migrating herds as we are travelling during the famous migration period of the year.

Applicable TCS:

Section 206C(G) of Income tax act, 1961 mandates tour package operators selling overseas packages to collect TCS from the individuals travelling abroad. As announced in budget 2025, the threshold limit of remittances (under LRS) made to overseas tour package sellers is Rs. 10 lakh (except for medical and educational expenses). TCS is 5% below threshold and 20% above the threshold. As a mandate, we will therefore, be collecting TCS as per the mentioned threshold and depositing to Govt within the deadline. Don't worry, TCS isn't an extra fee! It is an advance tax payment that will be adjusted against your income tax liability when you file your returns.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations 90 days or more prior to departure - 10% cancellation fee
  • Cancellations between 61 to 90 days prior to departure - 25% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations between 46 to 60 days prior to departure - 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 45 days of departure - non-refundable.

Disclaimer – Force Majeure

The organizer shall not be liable for any delay, change, cancellation, loss, or additional expenses caused by natural calamities, adverse weather, government restrictions, transport disruptions, or any other force majeure events beyond its control. Any itinerary changes made for participant safety shall be binding. Any additional costs arising from such circumstances shall be borne by the participants, and no refund or compensation shall be payable for affected or unused services.
