Step into the vibrant lanes of Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest wholesale spice market, nestled beside Chandni Chowk and Fatehpuri Masjid. Operating since the 17th century, this bustling bazaar is a sensory explosion of colors, aromas, and textures, where towering sacks of spices, herbs, dry fruits, and teas create an unmatched photographic canvas.

Living by the mantra "Never say never," Anupama Simon Choudhary is now dedicating her full time attention to her passion for photography following a successful 24-year career in the travel and hospitality industry.Her desire to learn about India's rich culture of diversity and history inspired her to take a vocational course in Travel and Tourism after graduating with a degree in commerce. She enjoys capturing expressions of life in her images, and the intricacies of our culture and heritage are portrayed via her work behind the camera.Anupama is involved with DCP as a Mentor - Team DCP Delhi.

Getting Ready

Things to carry:

Your camera (Any camera of any make is fine) and wide angle lens
Carry fully charged batteries for your camera / flash
Carry backup memory cards in case you run short of space
Carry your personal medications if you are on medication
Carry a water bottle, hat and some dry snacks / chocolates
Smoking during the walk is strictly prohibited
