This immersive early morning macro photography walk is designed for photographers who wish to discover the fascinating miniature world hidden within one of Delhi’s most iconic green spaces. From colourful insects and delicate spiders to dew-laden vegetation, fungi, flowers, textures, patterns, and other tiny wonders, Lodhi Garden offers exceptional opportunities to observe and photograph nature at close quarters.
Led by Aneesh (Lead Mentor) and supported by Anupama, participants will receive hands-on guidance on macro photography techniques, creative composition, lighting, depth of field, and storytelling through small subjects, while learning to see nature from a completely different perspective.

The Lodhi Garden Weekend Wildlife Macro Photo Walk offers a unique opportunity to explore one of Delhi’s most iconic urban green spaces through the fascinating world of macro photography. While renowned for its historic monuments and landscaped gardens, Lodhi Garden is also home to an astonishing diversity of insects, spiders, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, fungi, textures, and other miniature forms of life that often go unnoticed.
During this guided morning walk, participants will slow down, observe nature with greater attention, and learn how to transform everyday small subjects into compelling photographic stories. The emphasis will be on understanding light, creating clean backgrounds, mastering composition, and developing the patience and observation required for successful macro photography in natural surroundings.
Whether you are just beginning your macro photography journey or looking to refine your existing skills, this photo walk will help you see familiar environments from an entirely new perspective.
This is much more than a casual nature walk. It is a guided field learning experience designed to help you become a more thoughtful and creative macro photographer.

Aneesh Bhasin is an Electronics Engineer by profession, but wildlife photography is where he has found his passion. He loves being outdoors, especially the mountains, and enjoys all that the Mother Nature has bestowed us with. He is a skilled wildlife photographer and loves experimenting with Macro Photography techniques. His love for this genre is mainly because of the immense biodiversity that often hides from our plain sight. He says “all you need is to get down to earth! He constantly experiments sharpening his own skills whenever he is in the field. He is a good trainer and motivates all around him to learn wildlife photography from a different perspective. Through his camera, he likes to explore, document and spread awareness about wildlife found within the cities which often goes unnoticed by the common man. He is associated with us as Mentor - Team DCP Delhi.
