About The Photo Walk

The Kavesar Lake Weekend Nature Photo Walk offers a wonderful opportunity to explore one of Mumbai's lesser-known natural habitats through the fascinating world of macro photography. The rich vegetation, wetland edges, and surrounding greenery provide an ideal habitat for a remarkable variety of insects, spiders, dragonflies, damselflies, butterflies, fungi, flowers, and countless other tiny subjects waiting to be discovered.

During this guided morning walk, participants will slow down, observe nature with greater attention, and learn how to transform small, often overlooked subjects into compelling photographic stories. The focus will be on understanding natural light, creating clean backgrounds, mastering composition, and developing the patience and observation skills that are essential for successful macro photography.

Whether you are taking your first steps into macro photography or looking to refine your existing skills, this photo walk will help you discover an entirely new perspective on the miniature world thriving around Kavesar Lake.
